Directions to Rogers Rock Cove
Take Route 9 North to Rogers Rock Campground. Follow signs to picnic area. Make a left just before picnic area parking. Go straight past the barrier (normally it is not closed) and down the dirt road. Park on the side of the dirt road or in a campsite lot.

The cost for day use is $5.00.

Dive Entry & Exit Points
The best entry and exit is done by the waters edge between the fork in the road. Be careful - sometimes the dirt gets a bit slippery!

There is a boat launch at Rogers Rock near the main parking and picnic area. To reach Rogers Slide from there head northwest.

To get to Rogers Slide you must swim about 1 mile. It is about a half mile to Juniper Island and another half mile to the slide from Juniper Island. Depth range from 40 to 110 feet at the slide.

General Information
Dive parties must have a dive flag. There is a $50.00 fine if you are caught without one.

This site is a favorite of the New York State Divers Association. Sometimes they take over the area but they will let you in for the same price that the gate charges. Check at the gate to make sure that they do not have the grounds so you don't have to pay twice.

There are many fish and turtles to be seen. The best time to dive in the cove is at night, when more marine life can be seen close up within arm's reach.
