IT’S PARTY TIME (AGAIN)

Time to socialize with friends, new members, and divers interested in becoming members.

Vreni has found us a new location for our social. We will be enjoying the hospitality of the Friends’ Meeting House in Purchase.

THE PLAN: Everyone will bring either an appetizer or a dessert to share with approximately 10 others. TSSC will provide plates, soda, and coffee. Sorry, we cannot serve liquor at the Friends’ meeting house. If you let me know what you are bringing in advance I will have some limited control over the proportion of appetizers and desserts 50/50 is good but so is anything else. We all like good food.

THE THEME: Luau, suggested proper attire for this event would be Hawaiian type shirts for the gents (& ladies), Hawaiian or sun dresses for ladies (NOT gents), grass skirts, pareos, etc. hor d’ourves will have a wide range of Asian and Caribbean flavors. Deserts, well desserts are desserts. Need we say more?

This not to be missed event will take place on Saturday evening, April 17 at 7:00.

Directions to Friends' Meeting House in Purchase:

From I-684
Take Exit 2 (Airport exit) to stoplight at Rt. 120 (Purchase St.).
Turn right and go 1 mile to sharp left turn onto Rt. 120 S.
The Friends' Meeting House is on the left at the corner.

From I-287
Take Exit 8 (westbound) or Exit 8 E (eastbound) and follow signs for Anderson Hill Rd and SUNY Purchase.
Take Anderson Hill Rd to Rte 120 (Purchase St.), turn left
Drive about 2 miles to intersection with Lake St.
The Friends' Meeting House is on the right just before the intersection.
