The Scuba
Sports Club's
Webmaster Goes to Bali
It's been over a year, but I'm finally putting up the
pictures I promised! There weren't many - Michael was too busy aiming
his camera at the undersea critters. And then there was the
day-and-a-half I lost to "Bali belly" (how come Michael brushed his
teeth with the tap water, and I got sick??), plus a mystery
shoulder problem. But the water was great, just my temperature (82),
and the critters numerous and beautiful!
Vain as I am, I want everyone to admire my wild dive
skin from Dive Goddess -
which I fell in love with at BTS '98 and had to have! Once I had
that, of course I had to have coordinated snorkel gear (and
prescription lenses) to go with it.
These pictures are all taken at Pemuteran, on Bali's northwest coast.
There was great diving right off the beach, but one day we went out on
one of the dive shop's boats to some reefs just a little farther out.
Of course those are Michael's bubbles getting in the way as he shot up
toward me with his video camera.
